The Cause
Why 22?
22 has become a widely recognized symbol of veteran suicide awareness — not a precise, universal, or current statistic, but a reminder of the people still fighting and the responsibility to keep showing up for them. RuckUp22 turns that awareness into a physical act: rucking, walking, or hiking with the weight of that number in mind, alongside family, friends, and community.

Huntsville Location
Huntsville-area participants are encouraged to use the Aldridge Creek Greenway, starting anywhere from Ditto Landing to Bailey Cove Road. The path is open to the public and accessible at multiple points.
